Award-winning Green Christmas Campaigns
Pioneering eco-friendly initiatives with green Christmas theme. Team Meridien transformed holiday traditions into powerful PR statements. In 1994, a 20-foot tree constructed from 8,237 recycled F&N Coca-Cola cans stood proudly in the atrium lobby. It was recreated in 1997 to reinforce the hotel’s commitment to environmental stewardship through high-impact, visual storytelling.

Fundraisers
At Le Meridien Singapore, Evonne was actively involved in high-profile fund raisers that generated a total of $418,000 for significant causes.
Over $320,000 was collected for the Singapore Symphonia Orchestra Endowment Fund through the prestigious Vienna Opera Balls in 1993 and 1994. Billed as “The Ball of the Year” in 1993 by Lifestyle Asia, both events garnered commendable media coverage across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The gala was televised on prime-time news in Singapore and Malaysia, graced the front page of The Straits Times and reported in luxury lifestyle magazines and major dailies.
These prestigious galas were attended by Guests of Honour Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong who was then Deputy PM in 1993 and the late President Ong Teng Cheong in 1994.
Evonne was in the organising committee of the 1994 Philippine Ballet Theatre
Charity Gala Dinner, which successfully raised $91,000 in donations to benefit the Henderson Senior Citizens’ Home and Hi! Theatre (theatre company for the deaf), demonstrating her commitment to bridging high-profile corporate events with meaningful community service.
Media FAMs to Korea and Hong Kong
At Clarion Consultants, Evonne serviced Asia Pacific division of IHG, overseeing the PR for one of the world’s leading hotel companies. The “In-the-Know” campaign was a brand-loyalty marketing initiative that redefines the guest experience by transforming the Chief Concierge into a “cultural connector” of insider secrets of the destination.
